KIIT School of Computer Engineering society,Kodessa organizes “Women in IT” event : Ommtv

 In the spirit of bringing light to the women who aspire to step into the world of IT, KODESSA KIIT hosted their first event ‘WOMEN-in-IT’ as an extended celebration of International Women’s Day on 9^th March 2024.The members welcomed two very distinguished figures to inspire and motivate the young girls, Mr. Satyanarayan Roy Mohapatra and Dr. Hemant Kumar Rath, in the presence of the Dean and Director General of the School of Computer Engineering.The event started with the Faculty and Student coordinators' welcome addresses. Thereafter, inspiring words by the Dean and the Director General set the stage for an enlightening session to follow.The keynote speakers took their time in patiently addressing the audince and imparted their knowledge to the girls. They inspired, and made the entire seminar audience dream about a future that they all want to live in, and told them about the reality of the corporate world, bringing light upon the present-day scenarios in the industry and how real-life IT looks like.This was followed by a very interactive ‘Q-n-A’ session, wherein students asked various questions to the speakers, and they took their time to explain it all to the curious minds. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the other Student Coordinator.
