A transformative educational journey unfolded as 60 students from the 8th semester of KIIT School of Law embarked on a field visit to the State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) in Odisha. Led by Dr. Tulishree Pradhan, Assistant Professor at KIIT School of Law, the visit aimed to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical insights into environmental law and management on April 18, 2024.The students were privileged to engage with key figures at SPCB, including Chief Legal Advisor Sri. Bhagbat Prasad Pattajoshi and Chief Engineer Sri. Rabi Narayan Prusti. Through interactive sessions, they delved into various dimensions of environmental pollution laws, with a particular focus on hazardous waste management. Dr. Tulishree Pradhan elucidated the objectives of the visit and underscored the significance of such experiential learning opportunities in shaping future legal professionals. She highlighted the importance of collaboration between academic institutions like KIIT School of Law and regulatory bodies such as SPCB in nurturing a deeper understanding of environmental laws and their enforcement mechanisms.Facilitating the program were esteemed faculty coordinators Ms. Madhuri Meelee, Dr. Maneesha Mishra, and Dr. Chinmayee Nanda, whose guidance ensured a fruitful and enriching experience for the students. The field visit to SPCB, Odisha exemplified KIIT School of Law's commitment to fostering holistic learning experiences that empower students to become adept legal practitioners equipped to address contemporary environmental challenges.
ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର, ୨୧ ।୪: ତତ୍ତ୍ୱ ଓ ଅନୁଶୀଳନ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଥିବା ଦୂରତା ହ୍ରାସ ଦିଗରେ କିଟ୍ ଲ ସ୍କୁଲ୍ ୮ମ ସେମେଷ୍ଟାରର ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଦୂଷଣ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ବୋର୍ଡକୁ ଅପ୍ରେଲ ୧୮ତାରିଖରେ ଏକ ଶୈକ୍ଷିକ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ପରିଦର୍ଶନ କରିଥିଲେ। ପ୍ରାଧ୍ୟାପିକା ଡ. ତୁଲିଶ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରଧାନଙ୍କ ନେତୃତ୍ୱରେ ୬୦ ଜଣ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ନେଇ ଏଭଳି କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ପରିଦର୍ଶନ ହେଉଛି ଏକ ଶୈକ୍ଷିକ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନର ପ୍ରୟାସ। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ପ୍ରଦୂଷଣ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ବୋର୍ଡର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଆଇନ ପରାମର୍ଶଦାତା ଭାଗବତ ପ୍ରସାଦ ପାଟ୍ଟଯୋଶୀ ଓ ମୁଖ୍ୟଯନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ରବି ନାରାୟଣ ପୃଷ୍ଟିଙ୍କ ସହ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବା ସହ ଆଲୋଚନା କରିବାର ସୁଯୋଗ ପାଇଥିଲେ। ଆଲୋଚନା ସମୟରେ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ବିପଦଜନକ ବର୍ଜ୍ୟବସ୍ତୁ ଯୋଗୁଁ ହେଉଥିବା ପରିବେଶ ପ୍ରଦୂଷଣର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଆଇନଗତ ଦିଗ ଉପରେ ଆଲୋଚନା କରିଥିଲେ। ଡ. ପ୍ରଧାନ ରାଜ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଦୂଷଣ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ବୋର୍ଡକୁ ପରିଦର୍ଶନର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ କହିବା ସହ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତର ଆଇନ୍ ପ୍ରଫେସନାଲଙ୍କୁ ତିଆରି କରିବା ଦିଗରେ ଏଭଳି କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ପରିଦର୍ଶନ ସୁଯୋଗ କିଭଳି ସହାୟକ ହେବ ସେ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ କହିଥିଲେ। କିଟ୍ ଲ ସ୍କୁଲ୍ ଓ ରାଜ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଦୂଷଣ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ବୋର୍ଡ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏହି ସହଯୋଗିତା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆଇନ୍ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ପରିବେଶ ଆଇନ୍ ଓ ଏହାର ପ୍ରୟୋଗ ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା ଜାଣିବା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ବିଶେଷ ଉପକୃତ ହୋଇପାରିବେ ବୋଲି ସେ କହିଥିଲେ। ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମାଧୁରୀ ମିଲୀ, ଡ. ମନିଷା ମିଶ୍ର ଓ ଡ. ଚିନ୍ମୟୀ ନନ୍ଦ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ସାମିଲ ହୋଇଥିଲେ।
