VICE-CHANCELLOR OF OUAT PROF. PRAVAT KUMAR ROUL 

Bhubaneswar -20/9 – The leading social and cultural association of the state Niladrivihar Youth & Cultural Association (NYCA) made a courtesy call with the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology (OUAT). A team of the association comprising of its President Dr. Prakash Chandra Panigrahi and General Secretary Shri Biswajit Pattnaik met Prof. Roul in his office and congratulated him for his new assignment by honouring him with uttaryi, boquet, leaflet and wish him a successful and constructive tenure ahead. During the discussion Prof. Roul has been briefed the 28 years journey, social and cultural activities of the association by the team and urged to pay focus for more research studies on Agriculture, initiatives to be taken to attract more students for the agricultural studies and to encourage the farmers for more focus on farming. The team also accolades the role of the university in development of farming products through the implementation of technology and wish for more development activities for the university. In reply to the felicitation and courtesy call Prof. Roul praised the initiative and activities of the association and wish its more success in the future and assured to look after the discussed matters. At the last the team members assured any kind of help for the growth of the Institution where as Prof. Roul assured to provide all kind of help from the University side. The intellectuals of the locality praised this type of motive of the association.
