LITERATURE CONCLAVE AT DAV, KALINGA NAGAR CONCLUDED : OMMTV

Bhubaneswar, 20.09- The Literature Conclave organized under the aegis of DAV CAE and DAV United Foundation at DAV, Kalinga Nagar has been come to a conclusion. Joining as the guest, well-known story teller Mrs Prachitara Mishra narrated many interesting stories to the children in a beautiful way employing different innovative techniques. Mrs Mishra, during her storytelling sessions highlighted the multifarious benefits of reading in general and short stories in particular and taught the children easy ways  to remember the stories for a long time. In order to create love for literature and literary pursuits among the students, different literary activities like storytelling, recitation of self-composed poem in different languages were organized among them. Apart from this a book fair was also organized to mark the conclave. While supervising the entire gamut of activities directly, Principal of the school Mr Bipin Kumar Sahoo opined that the general wellbeing of a society lies in the sustenance and development of its languages and literature. To note the conclave was inaugurated by the well known writer, author and Former Principal of JKBK College Dr Gopa Ranjan Mishra. The programme was smoothly organized by the whole-hearted cooperation of all the members of staff under the               co-ordination of English department and Library Committee of the school.
