THREE PHASE COVID VACCINATION CAMP ORGANISED AT DAV KALINGA NAGAR : OMMTV
Bhubaneswar- 08.09 :-With life returning to normalcy after being in the grind of COVID-19 for more than two years, a three-phase vaccination camp was organised at DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar as a proactive step to ensure a safe environment to the students who constitute the worst affected section of the pandemic. As a part of the programme- ‘Vaccination for all’ of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, in the first phase, the school organised vaccination of 1st dose to students between the age group of 12-14 years while in the second phase the staff including their family members were given the booster dose. In the third phase of vaccination the students were given the second dose. As a joint initiative of TCI Foundation and CHC, Ghatikia the programme was organised under the aegis of national health mission as per the direction of Department of Health and Family Welfare of both central as well as state government. Mr Pradip ku Nayak, Ms Smrutilipi Panda and Ms Tejasmita Nayak conducted the the vaccination camp under the direct supervision of Dr Ms Subhalaxmi Bal and Dr Arman Namis. Principal Mr Bipin Kumar Sahoo thanked everybody associated with the programme for their noble work. The entire camp was smoothly conducted by the members of the COVID-19 Monitoring Committee of the school.
