KIT signs MoU with two prestigious universities in America and Bulgaria for academic cooperation:Ommtv Kalinga Vikas

Bhubaneswar , 1. 7: KIT University has signed MoUs with two leading universities of the world for educational cooperation. KIT signed MoUs with American University of Malta, USA and Varna Free University, Bulgaria, through a press release on Monday.

The MoU has been signed to strengthen academic cooperation and promote mutual understanding and goodwill. The MoU will promote and facilitate exchanges of students, faculty , staff and joint research projects between both KIT and the American University of Malta. Both the universities will also cooperate in joint research, exchange of academic publications , implementation of summer and winter academic programs and other mutually agreed educational and cultural exchange programs. KIT and KIIS Founder Achyut Samanta expressed his pleasure at the event and expressed hope that this agreement will definitely be fruitful.

The signing ceremony with the American University of Malta was attended by the President of the University, Professor Ian Robson, and the Indian High Commissioner to Malta, Gloria Gange. Similarly, the signing ceremony with the Vargas Open University, Bulgaria was attended by the Indian Ambassador to Bulgaria, Arun Kumar Sahu, and the Rector of the University, Professor Milen Baltov. On behalf of KIT, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Sharanjit Singh , the Director General of the Department of International Affairs, KIT, Debraj Pradhan , and the Registrar, KIT, Professor Gyan Ranjan Mohanty were present.
