Bhubaneswar, (Omm): 16.08.-DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar celebrated the 76th Independence Day of mother India with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour as an apex touch to Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. As the chief guest of the occasion, Chairman of the school, Sj Madan Mohan Panda hoisted the national flag. In his address on this occasion, he advised the students to give priority to the interest of the motherland so that the dreams of the freedom fighters can be materialized and the country can reach the zenith of its progress. During his address, the chief guest emphasized the decisive role played by the student community in taking the country on the path of progress and development and urged them to fulfill their role in a faithful manner. The students presented a beautiful patriotic chorus that spread the aroma and patriotism in the air. The spirit of freedom and nationalism and the very cult of India’s inherent strength ‘unity in diversity’ was well exhibited by the students through a beautiful cultural programme which comprised of a spectrum of patriotic dance, yoga, aerobics, art, and music.
The entire programme was smoothly conducted amidst strict adherence to SOP of COVID-19 under the supervision of the Principal, Sri Bipin Kumar Sahoo and all the members of staff.
