SILVER JUBILEE YEAR GIVEN CROWNING TOUCH WITH HOLY HAVAN

Bhubaneswar, 6.7(Omm) :  The yearlong jest and jubilation organized to mark the silver jubilee year by the DAVians of, Kalinga Nagar reached its culmination with observation of its 26^th Foundation Day in its premises today. As a holy spark to this memorable occasion, a sacred Havan was organized in the school premises early in the morning. It was followed by the prize giving ceremony organized to acknowledge the achievements of students of different schools in various competitions organized throughout the year. The welcome song sung by the students bewitched the audience. In his welcome address to the dignitaries, Principal Sri Bipin Kumar Sahoo highlighted the glorious trajectory of the school from its humble beginning to its majestic presence till date. In the brief but powerful address, Chairman of the school Sj Madan Mohan Panda recounted the long struggle that the school had to pass through in order to reach its present stature. The dignitaries present on the occasion includes the former Chairman of the school and Vice Chairman of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, Sj Sarat Chandra Misra, Founder Principal and Regional Director, DAV Institutions, Odisha, Dr K.C Satapathy, ARO, Dr Sujata Sahoo, Manager of the school Dr Bhagaybati Nayak,Chairman of DAV Unit-VIII Sj Bijay Kumar Pattnaik, Principals of DAV Public schools of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, Members of PTCC and School Managing Committee. The dignitaries inaugurated the Jubilee Kids’ park and took part in a plantation drive after the programme. The entire programme was successfully organized by the function department of the school with the wholehearted cooperation of all the members of staff and was telecast through You tube Live streaming.
