DRM Rayagada inspects the Bacheli-Jeypore Railway Section:

# Reviews the progress of Goods shed at Badearapur, Jagadalpur and Jeypore
# Station development projects at Jagadalpur and Jeypore
# Safety inspection of the critical locations including a Limited Height Subway.

The Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Rayagada Division, Shri Amitabh Singhal conducted a detailed inspection of Bacheli-Jeypore section and review the progress of Goods shed at BDXX, JDB & JYP. He directed the officials of concerned departments viz. Engineering, Commercial and Electrical to expedite the construction of pending works at these locations. Construction of goods shed shall enable the merchants to load and unload various commodities such as iron ore, rice, fertilizer, food grains etc more efficiently and expeditiously.Sh. Amitabh Singhal mentioned that, Goods sheds under construction shall have various facilities such as a building comprising separate rooms for labour, merchants and FOIS with toilet facilities, concerte wharf, parking for trucks & CCTV cameras. Various pollution control measures shall also be incorporated viz. sprinklers, dust screens and sedimentation tank. Also the entry and exit roads for smooth transportation of consignment shall be constructed.  Shri Singhal also carried out inspection of the arrangements done across the section to avoid water stagnation on the tracks which occur due to heavy rainfall. He mentioned that, at critical locations, catch water drains, side/longitudinal drains and retaining walls have been constructed and at a few locations are under construction.He also inspected LHS ( Limited Height Subway) near Khadapa and directed the Railway staff to get the work completed on priority. The construction of this subway shall not only eliminate the manned LC gate but also enable smooth and hassle free movement to the residents of nearby villages.As a part of his inspection, DRM RGDA visited Jagdalpur and Jeypore stations to assess the progress of Station development projects, undertaken by the construction department.The inspection reflects Rayagada Division's continued commitment to strengthening freight operations, enhancing Railway safety & infrastructure and improving passenger services across the division. Branch officers from Engineering , Commercial, Operating and Mechanical departments of the Division accompanied DRM during the inspection.

ରାୟଗଡ଼ା ରେଳ ମଣ୍ଡଳର ମଣ୍ଡଳ ରେଳ ପ୍ରବନ୍ଧକ (ଡିଆରଏମ୍) ଶ୍ରୀ ଅମିତାଭ ସିଂଘଲ ବାଚେଲି–ଜୟପୁର ରେଳ ସେକ୍ସନର ବିସ୍ତୃତ ପରିଦର୍ଶନ କରି ବଦେଆରପୁର, ଜଗଦଲପୁର ଏବଂ ଜୟପୁର  ଠାରେ ନିର୍ମାଣାଧୀନ ମାଲଗୋଦାମ (Goods Shed) କାର୍ଯ୍ୟର ଅଗ୍ରଗତି ସମୀକ୍ଷା କରିଛନ୍ତି ।  ସେ ଇଞ୍ଜିନିୟରିଂ, ବାଣିଜ୍ୟିକ ଏବଂ ବିଦ୍ୟୁତ ବିଭାଗର ଅଧିକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ତ୍ୱରାନ୍ୱିତ କରି ଶୀଘ୍ର ସମାପ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ।ଡିଆରଏମ୍ ଶ୍ରୀ ସିଂଘଲ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ଏହି ମାଲଗୋଦାମଗୁଡ଼ିକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ହେବା ପରେ ଲୁହାପଥର, ଧାନ, ସାର, ଖାଦ୍ୟଶସ୍ୟ ସମେତ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପ୍ରକାରର ପଣ୍ୟର ଲୋଡିଂ ଓ ଅନଲୋଡିଂ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଅଧିକ ଦ୍ରୁତ, ସୁଗମ ଏବଂ ଦକ୍ଷତାର ସହିତ ସମ୍ପନ୍ନ ହେବ। ଏହା ଦ୍ୱାରା ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ବ୍ୟବସାୟୀ ଏବଂ ଶିଳ୍ପ ସଂସ୍ଥାଗୁଡ଼ିକ ବ୍ୟାପକ ଭାବେ ଉପକୃତ ହେବେ।ସେ ଆହୁରି କହିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ନିର୍ମାଣାଧୀନ ମାଲଗୋଦାମ ଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ଶ୍ରମିକ, ବ୍ୟବସାୟୀ ଏବଂ ଫ୍ରେଟ୍ ଅପରେସନ୍ ଇନଫର୍ମେସନ୍ ସିଷ୍ଟମ୍ (FOIS) ବା ପଣ୍ୟ ପରିଚାଳନା ସୂଚନା ପ୍ରଣାଳୀ ପାଇଁ ପୃଥକ କକ୍ଷ ସହିତ ଭବନ, ଶୌଚାଳୟ, କଂକ୍ରିଟ୍ ହ୍ୱାର୍ଫ, ଟ୍ରକ୍ ପାର୍କିଂ ସୁବିଧା ଏବଂ ସିସିଟିଭି କ୍ୟାମେରା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ରହିବ। ପରିବେଶ ସୁରକ୍ଷାକୁ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱ ଦେଇ ସ୍ପ୍ରିଙ୍କଲର, ଧୂଳି ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ପରଦା (Dust Screen) ଏବଂ ସେଡିମେଣ୍ଟେସନ୍ ଟ୍ୟାଙ୍କ ଭଳି ପ୍ରଦୂଷଣ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ମଧ୍ୟ କରାଯିବ। ଏଥିସହିତ ମାଲ ପରିବହନକୁ ସୁଗମ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପୃଥକ ପ୍ରବେଶ ଓ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ ସଡ଼କ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରାଯିବ।ପରିଦର୍ଶନ ସମୟରେ ଡିଆରଏମ୍ ଶ୍ରୀ ସିଂଘଲ ବର୍ଷା ଋତୁରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ଯୋଗୁଁ ରେଳ ଧାରଣା ଉପରେ ଜଳ ଜମିବାକୁ ରୋକିବା ପାଇଁ ସେକ୍ସନର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନରେ କରାଯାଇଥିବା ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାର ମଧ୍ୟ ଯାଞ୍ଚ କରିଥିଲେ। ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ସମ୍ବେଦନଶୀଳ ସ୍ଥାନଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ କ୍ୟାଚ୍ ୱାଟର ଡ୍ରେନ୍, ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ଓ ଲଙ୍ଗିଟ୍ୟୁଡିନାଲ୍ ଡ୍ରେନ୍ ସହିତ ରିଟେନିଂ ୱାଲ୍ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରାଯାଇଛି ଏବଂ କେତେକ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଚାଲୁ ରହିଛି ।
ଖଡପା ନିକଟରେ ନିର୍ମାଣାଧୀନ ଲିମିଟେଡ୍ ହାଇଟ୍ ସବୱେ (LHS) ଅଥବା ଉପମାର୍ଗ ର ମଧ୍ୟ ପରିଦର୍ଶନ କରି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକୁ ପ୍ରାଥମିକତା ଭିତ୍ତିରେ ଶୀଘ୍ର ସମାପ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ସମ୍ପୃକ୍ତ ଅଧିକାରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି । ଏହି ସବୱେ ନିର୍ମାଣ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେବା ପରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନର ମାନବଚାଳିତ ଲେଭେଲ୍ କ୍ରସିଂ ଫାଟକକୁ ହଟାଯାଇପାରିବ ଏବଂ ଆଖପାଖ ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ, ସୁଗମ ଓ ନିରବଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ଯାତାୟାତ ସୁନିଶ୍ଚିତ ହେବ।ପରିଦର୍ଶନର ଅଂଶ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଶ୍ରୀ ସିଂଘଲ ଜଗଦଲପୁର ଏବଂ ଜୟପୁର ରେଳ ଷ୍ଟେସନ ପରିଦର୍ଶନ କରି ନିର୍ମାଣ ବିଭାଗ ଦ୍ୱାରା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାରୀ ହେଉଥିବା ଷ୍ଟେସନ ପୁନଃ ବିକାଶ ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପଗୁଡ଼ିକର ଅଗ୍ରଗତି ସମୀକ୍ଷା କରିଥିଲେ।ଏହି ପରିଦର୍ଶନ ରାୟଗଡ଼ା ରେଳ ମଣ୍ଡଳର ପଣ୍ୟ ପରିବହନ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାକୁ ଅଧିକ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିବା, ରେଳ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଓ ଭିତ୍ତିଭୂମିର ବିକାଶକୁ ତ୍ୱରାନ୍ୱିତ କରିବା ସହିତ ସମଗ୍ର ମଣ୍ଡଳରେ ଯାତ୍ରୀ ସେବା ମାନଦଣ୍ଡରେ ଉନ୍ନତି ପ୍ରତି ଏହାର ଦୃଢ଼ ପ୍ରତିବଦ୍ଧତାକୁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳିତ କରୁଛି।ପରିଦର୍ଶନ ସମୟରେ ମଣ୍ଡଳର ଇଞ୍ଜିନିୟରିଂ, ବାଣିଜ୍ୟିକ, ପରିଚାଳନା (ଅପରେଟିଂ) ଓ ମେକାନିକାଲ୍ ବିଭାଗର ଶାଖା ଅଧିକାରୀମାନେ ଡିଆରଏମ୍ ଙ୍କ ସହ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ।
