ଅଗ୍ରଣୀ ସାମାଜିକ ଓ ସାଂସ୍କୃତିକ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ନୀଳାଦ୍ରିବିହାର ଯୁବ ଓ ସାଂସ୍କୃତିକ ସଂଘ ତରଫରୁ ୯୪ ବର୍ଷରେ ଶେଷ ନିଶ୍ୱାସ ତ୍ୟାଗ କରିଥିବା ଦିବଂଗତ ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତା ସଂଗ୍ରାମୀ ଯୋଗିନ୍ଦ୍ର ମହାରଣାଙ୍କୁ ଗଭୀର ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଞ୍ଜଳୀ ଅର୍ପଣ କରାଯାଇଛି । ଏହି ଉପଲକ୍ଷେ ସଂଘର ସଭାପତି ଡ. ପ୍ରକାଶ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ପାଣିଗ୍ରାହୀଙ୍କ ସଭାପତିତ୍ୱରେ ଆୟାଜିତ ଏକ ସ୍ମୃତି ସଭାରେ ବରିଷ୍ଠ ନେତା ତଥା ରାଜନୀତିଜ୍ଞ ନଟବର ବାରିକ, ପ୍ରଶାନ୍ତ ମଲ୍ଲିକ୍‌, ସୁଦର୍ଶନ ସାହୁ, ସତ୍ୟବ୍ରତ ମହାପାତ୍ର, ଅମରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଦାସ, ବରିଷ୍ଠ ନାଟ୍ୟକାର ତଥା କଳାକାର ବାବାଜି ଚରଣ ସାହୁ ତଥା ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ବିଶେଷ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଯୋଗଦେଇ ୰ମହାରଣାଙ୍କୁ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧା ସୁମନ ଅର୍ପଣ କରିବା ସହ ତାଙ୍କ ଜୀବନାଦର୍ଶ ଉପରେ ଆଲୋକପାତ କରିଥିଲେ । ରାଜ୍ୟର ଜଗତସିଂହପୁର ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଅଳା ଗ୍ରାମରେ ୧୯୨୯ ମସିହା ଜନ୍ମିତ ୰ମହାରଣା ୧୨ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସରୁ ମହାତ୍ମା ଗାନ୍ଧୀଙ୍କ ଡାକରାରେ ଭାରତର ସ୍ୱାଧିନତା ସଂଗ୍ରାମରେ ଯୋଗଦେଇ ଅନେକବାର ଜେଲ୍ ବରଣ ମଧ୍ୟ କରିଥିଲେ । ଭାରତ ମାତାର ମୁକ୍ତି ସଂଗ୍ରାମର ଶେଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟାୟରେ ନିଜ ଜୀବନକୁ ବାଜି ଲଗାଇଥିବା ୰ମହାରଣାଙ୍କୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ଓଡିଶା ଜ୍ୟୋତି ଉପାଧି ସହ ମାନ୍ୟବର ରାଜ୍ୟପାଳ ତଥା ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ବହୁବାର ସମ୍ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିତ ମଧ୍ୟ ହୋଇଥିଲେ । ମାନ୍ୟବର ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରପତି ତଥା ରାଜ୍ୟପାଳଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ବର୍ଷ ସ୍ୱାଧିନତା ଓ ସାଧାରଣତନ୍ତ୍ର ଦିବସରେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ଆର୍ଟ ହୋମ୍ ପାର୍ଟିକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରିତ ହୋଇ ରାଜ୍ୟର ମାନ ବଢାଇଥିଲେ । ଏହି ମହାନ ଆତ୍ମାକୁ ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ତାଙ୍କ ନିଜ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ତଥା ରାଜ୍ୟର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରୁ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ବର୍ଗର ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ବିଶେଷ ଯୋଗଦେଇ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧା ସୁମନ ଅର୍ପଣ କରିଥିଲେ । ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ୰ମହାରଣାଙ୍କ ସ୍ମୃତିରେ ତାଙ୍କ ଜୀବନଯାତ୍ରାକୁ ନେଇ ଏକ ସ୍ମରଣିକା ମଧ୍ୟ ଉନ୍ମୋଚିତ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା । ସଂଘର ସଂପାଦକ ବିଶ୍ୱଜିତ୍ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ତାଙ୍କ ସ୍ମୃତି ଚାରଣ କରିବା ସହ ତାଙ୍କ ସ୍ମୃତିରେ ଏକ ପ୍ରତିମୂ ର୍ୀ ତଥା ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ଏକ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ରାସ୍ତାକୁ ଆଗାମୀ ପିଢି ମନେରଖିବା ପାଇଁ ତାଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ନାମିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସରକାରଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରିଥିଲେ । ପିତାଙ୍କ ଆଦର୍ଶରେ ଅନୁପ୍ରାଣିତ ହୋଇ ୧୯୯୪ ମସିହାରେ ଯୁବଗୋଷ୍ଠିଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ରିତ କରିବା ଲକ୍ଷରେ ଏହି ସଂଘକୁ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କରିଥିବା ତାଙ୍କ ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠ ପୁତ୍ର ଦୁଃଶାସନ ମହାରଣା ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ନିଜର ପିତା ତଥା ସଂଘ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଥିବା ଏହି ଅତୁଟ ବନ୍ଧନ ଉପରେ ଆଲୋକପାତ କରିଥିଲେ । ଏଥିରେ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସଂଘର ବରିଷ୍ଠ ସଭ୍ୟ ଗଦାଧର ରଥ, ବଟକୃଷ୍ଣ ପଣ୍ଡା, କୁମର ବାରିକ, ପ୍ରକାଶ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ସାହୁ, ଗୋବିନ୍ଦ ବିଶ୍ୱାଳ, ୰ ମହାରଣାଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ୟ ସୁପୁତ୍ର ସନାତନ ମହାରଣା, ନିରଞ୍ଜନ ମହାରଣା, କ୍ଷୀରୋଦ ମହାରଣା ତଥା ଭାତୃଦ୍ୱୟ ରଘୁନାଥ ମହାରଣା ଓ ଜଗବନ୍ଧୁ ମହାରଣା ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଯୋଗଦେଇ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକୁ ପରିଚାଳନା କରିଥିଲେ । ସଂଘର ଏହି ଆଭିମୁଖ୍ୟକୁ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ବୁଦ୍ଧିଜୀବି ମହଲରେ ଉଚ୍ଚ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରାଯାଇଛି ।

The leading Socio-Cultural organization Niladrivihar Youth & Cultural Association paid a deep tribute to the veteran freedom fighter of the state late Jogindra Moharana who died recently at the age of 94. A condolence meeting arranged for the purpose presided over by it’s president Dr. Prakash Chandra Panigrahi the renowned political and social personalities Natabara Barik, Prasanta Mallick, Sudarshan Sahoo, Satyabrata Mohapatra, Amrendra Das, veteran writer and actor Babaji Charan Sahoo and many more were present and paid tribute to late Moharana and highlighted his life history. Born in 1923 at Ala village under Jagatsinghpur district late moharana joined in the India’s freedom struggle at the age of 12 under the call of Mahatma Gandhi and imprisoned several times. For his sacrificed life during the last part of the Countries freedom struggle the state govt. has honoured him with the Odisha Jyoti Samman and felicitated in different occasions even by the Hon’ble Governor and Chief Minister. He was also a regular invitee to the Art home party organized by the Hon’ble President and Governor every year during the celebrations of Independence Day and Republic Day. The people from his own district, from other part of the state, friends, relatives, well wishers paid a deep tribute during the occasion. A souvenir containing the journey of his life also released during the occasion. General Secretary of the Association Biswajit Pattanaik narrated his association with the organization and urged a place a statute and to name a prominent road of the district in his name to refresh his contribution in the mind of the coming generation. Following the foot prints and the ideology of the father his eldest son Dushasan Moharana founded this organization in the year 1994 to unite the youth mass also narrated the long journey of his father and the boding with the association. Among others the senior members of the association Gadadhar Prasad Rath, Bata Krushna Panda, Kumar Barik, Gobinda Biswal, the other sons of Late Moharana Sanatan Moharana, Niranjan Moharana, Khirod Moharana, brothers Raghunath Moharana, Jagabandhu Moharana were present and coordinated the entire programme. The local intellectuals applaud this move of the Association.
