Bhubaneswar,23.08:- The two day Capacity Building Programme of Senior Secondary level teachers of Biology under the aegis of Regional Training Centre, DAV Institutions, Odisha Zone at DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar, Bhubaneswar has been concluded. More than 37 Biology teachers of 29 DAV schools of Odisha Zone participated in this programme. Principal Mr Bipin Kumar Sahoo chaired the inaugural meeting and principal of DAV, Nimapara Mr. M.M Haque and Headmistress of DAV Lingaraj Area Ms. Sangeeta Prusty assess the training programme. Whereas Mr. Nabakishore Pradhan, Principal of DAV Balasore coordinated the entire programme. Attending the programme as resource persons, Dr. Animesh Mohapatra, Retd. Professor of Regional Institute of Education discussed about the Human Genome Sequencing. The other resource persons focused on Rental Task Management, the Reductional Division, Understanding the Human Encephalon Limbic System & Ventricles, Gene Cloning, Bioengineered life & Ethical Issues during the training programme. Apart from this, the resource persons also talked about different play way and fun-filled methods to teach biology to the students. The programme was smoothly conducted by the cooperation of all the staff members.
