On behalf of 'Sambad Sahityagarh', a tree planting program has been held today at Shikhar Chandi foothills with the support of 'Sambad' Mahanagar team. Many literati, intellectuals, educationists, social activists, young women and girls from Rakshribihar, Niladribihar, Patia, Chandrasekharpur, Darutheng, Alsua, Pathagadia, Prashantbihar, Kannbihar, Damna, Ishaneswar and Pandapark areas have planted more than 200 saplings.'Sambad' editor and MLA Soumyanranjan Patnaik joined as the chief guest and encouraged to take steps towards tree plantation and environment protection.
Odisha Senior Citizen Maha Sangh President and North Bhubaneswar Bhasani Committee Adviser Madhumadhav Jena presided over the program and State Coordinator of 'Sambad Sahitya Ghar' Shubhashree Lenka attended and highlighted the various programs being taken by 'Sambad Sahitya Ghar' in the field of language, literature development and environmental protection.Bhubaneswar Metropolitan Corporation (BMC) Ward No. 1 Corporation Mihir Kumar Raut appreciated such a program of 'Sambad' and thanked everyone.
