A seminar on “Need of Safety Skill in management of Incident and Accident” has been conducted at IIMT
Bhubaneswar by joint collaboration with IPM (Institute for Project Management) and vision@wellbing.
Attending the seminar as Chief Guest Prof. Bibhuti Bhusan Biswal, Vice Chancellor, Odisha University of
Technology & Research (OUTR) and Dr. Malay Kumar Pradhan, Deputy Director, Factories and Boiler
(Safety), Government of Odisha as Chief Speaker told that need of safety skill is required in management
of incident and accident and to prevent the fire accident suddenly generated in hospital, school, college,
factories and in running trains. Prof. Dr.Srikanta Pattnaik, Director, IIMT and Mr. Bikram Kesari Swain,
Director, IPM addressing the event supplement the need of safety skill is also required to protect the
productivity activities of the industries. Safety skill experts including Shri. Priti Ranjan Behera, Security
Officer of I.O.C.L,Paradeep,Sri Sushil Kumar Panigrahi,Security Officer , ,Southern Distribution Division of
Tata Power, Berhampur, and Sri Bansidhar Raut,Sri Asit Kumar Patry,Sri Dinesh Kumar Sahu,and Sri
Asutosh Das share their safety skill knowledge among the participants. Officers from different
institutions nearby Khurda joining the event participated debate. Dr. Jagamohan
Pattnaik,Dean,Administration introduced the guest and Srujani Mohanty ,Asst. Prof. I.I.M.T coordinated
the occasion.
