Bhubaneswar 14th March 2024: On the occasion of World Kidney Day, CARE Hospitals
organized a heartfelt Patient Experience Program (CARE Connect) in order to raise
awareness on Life after Kidney Transplant.
Dr. Bibekananda Panda (Clinical Director & HOD - Nephrology & Renal Transplant)
said In the event of emergencies, people with kidney disease are among the most
vulnerable in the population due to their ongoing requirements for consistently
coordinated care, which is often lifelong and involves complex ongoing treatment.
Dr. Ashok Panda (Associate Clinical Director - Nephrology & Renal Transplant)
highlighted the specialized care provided at CARE Hospitals for Kidney Transplant. We
use a comprehensive approach to treat a patient with Kidney disease. Our renal team
includes one of the finest and most reputed team of Nephrologists, Urologists and
technical staff nurses and rehabilitative physicians.
Dr. Sananda Bag (Senior Consultant - Urology & Renal Transplant Surgeon) said this is
a big initiative, and we at CARE Hospitals have come forward to create awareness for
good Kidney health. I am happy to see that our hospital is contributing to spread
awareness among the people and their loves ones to stay healthy and keep fighting
against Kidney diseases.
Dr. A Shyam Prasad (Medical Superintendent) articulated the objective of the program -
to foster connections between recovered patients, their families, and hospital staff.
Guests, including recovered patients and their families, engaged socially with treating
doctors, nurses, and staff, sharing their experiences and journeys. This informal
interaction facilitated meaningful connections outside the hospital environment. Its been
2 years since we initiated the Transplant program and have been successful in treating
patients with maximum efficiency.
Dr. Lokanath Dash, AVP - BD, underscored CARE Hospitals Bhubaneswar's
commitment to treating patients with Kidney disease through initiatives like BSKY and
various insurance tie-ups. The hospital also conducts extensive awareness sessions,
including health camps and interactive sessions with the public and corporates.

ଚନ୍ଦ୍ରଶେଖରପୁର, ୧୪/୩ (ORC): କେୟାର ହସ୍ପିଟାଲ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଆଜି ଚନ୍ଦ୍ରଶେଖରପୁରସ୍ଥିତ ଏକ ତାରକା ହୋଟେଲରେ ଅନୁ‌ଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି ବିଶ୍ବ କିଡ଼ନୀ ଦିବସ। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ କ୍ଲିନିକାଲ ନିର୍ଦେଶକ ଏବଂ ଏଚଓଡ଼ି ନେଫ୍ରୋଲେଜି ଏବଂ ରେନାଲ ଟ୍ରାନ୍ସପ୍ଲାଣ୍ଟ ଡ଼ାକ୍ତର ବିବେକାନନ୍ଦ ପଣ୍ଡା, ଆସୋସିଏଟ କ୍ଲିନିକାଲ୍ ନିର୍ଦେଶକ ଡ଼ାକ୍ତର ଅଶୋକ ପଣ୍ଡା, ସିନିୟର କନ୍ସଲଟାଣ୍ଟ ୟୁରୋଲୋଜି ଏବଂ ରେନାଲ ଟ୍ରାନ୍ସପ୍ଲାଣ୍ଟ ସର୍ଜନ ଡ଼ାକ୍ତର ସାନନ୍ଦ ବାଗ, ମେଡ଼ିକାଲ ଅଧୀକ୍ଷକ ଡ଼ାକ୍ତର ଏ.ଶ୍ୟାମ ପ୍ରସାଦ ଏବଂ ଡ଼ାକ୍ତର ଲୋକନାଥ ଦାଶ ଅତିଥିଭାବେ ଯୋଗଦେଇ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଦର୍ଶକମାନଙ୍କୁ କିଡ଼ନୀ କେୟାର ବିଷୟରେ ସଚେତନ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ କେୟାର ହସ୍ପିଟାଲରେ ଆରୋଗ୍ୟଲାଭ କରିଥିବା କିଡ଼ନୀ ରୋଗୀମାନେ ମଞ୍ଚରେ ନିଜର ଅଭିଜ୍ଞତା କହିଥିଲେ। ସେମାନେ କିପରି ଡ଼ାକ୍ତରଙ୍କ ପରାମର୍ଶ ନେଇ ବର୍ତମାନ ରୋଗମୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇପାରିଛନ୍ତି ତାହାନେଇ ନିଜର ମତାମତ ଜଣାଇଥିଲେ। ଏହା ସିହିତ ସେମାନେ ଆଗାମି ଦିନରେ ନିଜର ଆଖପାଖ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସଚେତନା କରିବା ସହ କିଡ଼ନୀ ରୋଗକୁ ମୁକ୍ତ ରହିବାପାଇଁ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପ୍ରକାର ପ୍ରଶିକ୍ଷଣ ପାଇଥିଲେ। ଶେଷରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଅତିଥି ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଡ଼ାକ୍ତର ଓ ରୋଗୀମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଭାବର ଆଦାନପ୍ରଦାନ ନେଇ ଏକ ଆଲୋଚନାଚକ୍ର ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା।
