ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର: କିଟ୍ ଓ କିସ୍ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ୮୮ତମ ଉତ୍କଳ ଦିବସ ଶନିବାର ପାଳିତ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି । ଏହି ଅବସରରେ କିଟ୍ ଓ କିସ୍ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଉତ୍କଳର ବରପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାସୁମନ ଅର୍ପଣ ପରେ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ଉତ୍କଳ ପ୍ରଦେଶ ଗଠନରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ ଅବଦାନର ସ୍ମୃତିଚାରଣ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା । କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ମୁଖ୍ୟବକ୍ତା ଭାବେ ଯୋଗଦେଇ କିସ୍ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ପ୍ରାକ୍ତନ କୁଳପତି ପ୍ରଫେସର ହରେକୃଷ୍ଣ ଶତପଥୀ କହିଲେ, ଆଜକୁ ୮୮ବର୍ଷ ତଳେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ପ୍ରଥମ ଭାଷା ଭିତ୍ତିକ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ରାଜ୍ୟର ମାନ୍ୟତା ପାଇଥିଲା । ଏହାରି ଭିତରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ବିଭିନ୍ନ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଅଗ୍ରଗତି କରିଥିବା ବେଳେ ଏଥିରେ କିଟ୍ ଓ କିସ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟ ଯୋଗଦାନ ରହିଛି ବୋଲି ସେ କହିଥିଲେ । କିଟ୍ ଓ କିସ୍ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠାତା ଅଚ୍ୟୁତ ସାମନ୍ତ କହିଲେ, ୨୦୩୬ରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ରାଜ୍ୟ ଗଠନର ଶହେବର୍ଷ ପୂରଣ କରିବାକୁ ଯାଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ଏହି ସମୟ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ବିକାଶ ଧାରାରେ କିଟ୍ ଓ କିସ୍ର ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭୂମିକା ରହିବ । ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କିଟ୍ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ଉପକୁଳାଧିପତି ଡା. ସୁବ୍ରତ ଆଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଆମେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଜଣେ ଜଣେ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଭାବେ ଗର୍ବ କରିବା ସହ ଆମେ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ବୋଲି ଭାବିବା ଉଚିତ । ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କିସ୍ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ କୁଳପତି ପ୍ରଫେସର ଦୀପକ କୁମାର ବେହେରା, କିଟ୍ ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଉପକୁଳପତି ପ୍ରଫେସର ଶରଣଜିତ ସିଂହ, ଡା. ସିବିକେ ମହାନ୍ତି ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଉଦ୍ବୋଧନ ଦେଇଥିବା ବେଳେ କୁଳସଚିବ ପ୍ରଫେସର ଜ୍ଞାନ ରଞ୍ଜନ ମହାନ୍ତି ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଅର୍ପଣ କରିଥିଲେ । ଉତ୍କଳ ଦିବସ ପରିପେକ୍ଷୀରେ କୁନି କଳାକାର ଶ୍ରେୟାଶ୍ରୀ ଯୋଶୀଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଓଡ଼ିଶୀ ନୃତ୍ୟ ପରିବେଷଣ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା । #Utkaldiwas #Kiituniversity #Kissuniversity #Ommtv #Omtv #Kalingacinearts

On this occasion KIT and KISS paid homage to the groom sons of Utkal for their remarkable contribution in the formation of a separate Utkal Pradesh was commemorated. Participating in the program as a keynote speaker, Professor Harekrishna Satpathy, said, 20 years ago, Odisha was recognized as the first language based independent state.
